In Memoriam of our beloved Uncle, John Jabel Prom By: Mignone N'Jie  ................................................................................... A bright light has been extinguished too soon! The epitaph of this amazing man, whom we were so honored to call Uncle, should read: "Dignified, distinguished, a gentleman of the highest order, an earth angel, the best of humankind, a beloved brother, a loving father and dedicated husband". No amount of adjectives can accurately describe our darling Uncle, who was revered by many, and loved by all. Neet ti neet nyee! A people’s person! Prom ak Elerr He was the brightest of the family. He exuded warmth and love wherever he was present. Gentle in nature, he was! An amazing disposition, he had! His presence was golden....debonair, full of verve, generous beyond measure, twinkle in his eyes, and a beaming smile on his face, was our John Jabel. His advice and counsel were sought by all, and always handled with the highest level of discretion. A knight in shining armour, he was. Noble in all his dealings. He stood tall and proud, and carried the family torch with dignity and pride. He loved his family, both close and extended, to a fault. He made an indelible mark in all our lives, and has left an irreplaceable void. To our dearest Pamela, we say Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! These two words may be simple, but it embodies a lot. We are eternally grateful and forever indebted to you. You've exemplified and illustrated the true meaning of "Till death do us part”. You stood by our Uncle, with stoic dignity. You carried yourself with unparallelled grace and dignity. Complained not, you did! To say that you are one to emulate would be an understatement. Ga cheh nga lama! Rest assured that although our Uncle has journeyed on, our love and respect for you will be more magnified and solidified, henceforth. May our blessed Mother Mary be with you at this sad and difficult time. In His faithfulness, may the merciful Lord grant you fortitude and peace, now and forever. To cousins Nini, Harry and Sukai Nellie, take heart and place all your sadness in the hands of God The Almighty. You all ought to super proud of his legacy. The unimaginable loss we’ve all sustained, albeit devastating, we should be consoled by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support all over the world.
