A Tribute to John Leon Prom John Prom was more than a cousin to us; he was like a brother. His father, the late Louis Leon Prom, and our late father Emile Leon Prom were both brothers as well as close friends. This tradition of family becoming close friends was continued on by John and our brother Francis Bellai Prom (whom John fondly called “mag-ji”). John also had a close relationship with all the Prom sisters of No. 12 Macdonald Street, especially with our youngest sister Patience Patricia Senghor whom he has stood by and supported in many different way. Everyone that knew John well knows that he was friendly, caring, loving, kind, supportive and extremely generous. He love life and treated everyone like family. This is why the news of his passing was so devastating and shocking to us. The world and mankind have certainly lost a precious gem. We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Pamela and the children he left behind; Nini, Harry and Sukai. John will always be in our hearts, minds and prayers. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. From the Prom family of No. 12 Macdonald Street, Leon, Victoria, Anna, Francis, Beatrice and Patience.
