While it is enough between spirits for me to simply not elaborate on the above statement, I feel I must accent the statement, by saying:


Thankful that you showed us that Love is God and God is Love; you loved us all regardless of age, relation, race, gender, creed, social status, strength or shortcomings. 
Thankful that you reminded us through the way you lived your life, that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and not the other way around. You cultivated a garden of love and happiness in each of our souls and all souls you touched.
Thankful for always opening your home, providing us with shelter and much more, a hearth and home. Making available all in your home, including all your family, friends, food, drink, literally all, with all connections to anyone who possibly needed anything within your world.
Thankful for your guidance to me and all my siblings in navigating the U.S when we arrived; advising, supporting, financing; encouraging, being at each of our graduations, or any occasion to celebrate the many blessings in our lives.
Thankful for your ever warm, gentle, humble and sincere smile and ways. 
Thankful for teaching us to work hard and making ourselves useful at home. I think of you every time that I make your tuna and sardines mix 😁
Thankful for your care, your phones calls to check on us.
Thankful for the pride in your eyes for all we made of our lives.
Thankful for sharing with us, your love for sports, for patiently explaining American football and baseball to me.
Thankful for making sure we know where we come from and insisting we know our history and culture by the events you organized or invited us to participate in.
Thankful for your grace and mercies like the Heavenly Father, when we let you down.
Thankful for the precious and memorable times I got to spend with you and family during my recent visits to Washington DC.
Thankful for loving our Aunty Pam, for being a wonderful friend and husband to her and making her happy. Thankful for the truly amazing father you are to our cousins, Harry and Sukai-Nellie. Happy Father’s Day Uncle John!!!
Thankful for your prayers for us and for looking down on us for your new home in Heaven. 
While this human experience is finished for you dear Uncle John, we know that your spirit lives on in each and everyone of us especially in your wife and children. We miss and will miss you beyond expression.
I pray that our Blessed Mother Mary, wrap you in her loving arms and keep you in her bosom and in the Holy Trinity always. May your soul rest in perfect peace with the Lord our God, and may God’s face shine on you for all eternity. Amen
